Research | Visual | Same genre to what I'm doing

So considering my festival is containing hip-hop genre music, after researching other existing festivals it seems that the music genre reflects the design visuals of the website. Glastonbury's website looks very indie which reflects its indie genre music it plays. Shakedowns more playful and cute colours reflect a lot of its pop genre.

My festival is hip-hop colours, so conducting research on festivals/music websites that are based on hip-hop to get some inspiration. Even though I want to have black/white/gold as my colours.

I like the cleanliness of this website. This enables the website to use small text, which I really like. And want to use on my website to make it clean. The website uses a simple 2 column layout with a poster image at the top. This seems common for festival sites to use this at the top of their page.

I found this on the website, which is a spotify widget where you can listen to songs from the artist on. I thought this was really call and useful, I will definitely have a look into putting something like this on my website.

The pages layout wasn't very good to be honest. It was just a single column all the way down, centre align. It didn't look that clean compared to the homepage, and would of benefited if separated into a two column layout.
