Glastonbury
Glastonbury's website uses a very organic theme, with bright vibrant colours, a bold rough looking font called 'LeagueGothic'. The nav bar has a tiled layout, with the tiles inperfect in sizes. The home page has one big tile which conducts two bits of content in it; standard tickets and coach + ticket packages. Scrolling down the home page there are tiles of content of links to things such as FAQ, the shop and so on.
The use of font is strong on the whole website. With the main home tile built up of font to make it look attractive.
I really like how they made a sort of poster looking tile for the title of the page using text, its something i might consider doing.

Wireless Festival
Wireless festival uses quite a retro theme. A simple white background with the primary colours of pink and blue as the main content on top. With a black navigation bar down the side.
It uses tiles but in a more complicated manner. The header at the top which is quite large is static so when scrolling down the size of the content is quite small, but the tiles are quite big so the functionality of the website isn't that great.
The style of the website is a bit more professional from Glastonbury, but still holding quite a playful style.
It uses the font 'ITCLubalinGraph' which is a stylish serif font.
I don't like the technical layouts of this website at all, I don't like navigation on the side, it looks rough and not as pleasant for the eye.

Shakedown
Shakedowns visual style is really nice, I really like the colours it uses. The pink/purple/blue colours are nice. The background of an image which has been saturated into the pink and purple works really well with the white content on top.
The social media icons in the top right hand corner maybe blend in a little too much, but hovering over them makes it purple which stands out nicely.
The home page uses tiles, this seems the way to go. Easy to navigate, pleasant on the eye. Content is separated in square tiles, with a video on the home page which I think is useful.
Having a video people can see more clearly what the event looks like from previous years, with some nice pictures and news on it too.
The ticket page is really simple with 4 different types with the information already in the tile there makes it easy for the user.
Shakedowns uses a poster of text of a list of artists who are performing
For maps, shakedown uses a google maps plugin so users can easily see where it is on a live map, with tiles below narrating the address, times and generally information.
