I am familiar with football montages on youtube, I watch a lot in my spare time as a hobby, they are videos I enjoy which inspired me to make my own one and implant it into my own brief of making a world cup video. Some of the main videos that inspire me the most are these:

This video just highlighting Ronaldo's career, with some amazing editing to the music is a big inspiration. The colour correction and syncing skills are professionally done. Making the video exciting to watch.

A montage of clips edited to the pace of the music is edited great in this video. A combination of different angles and the interchange between players, fans and anything associated with football really produces that unique emotion to your eyes.
