As I already have chosen the song - Imagine Dragons, Battle cry. I feel it is important all editing is synced to the song, the clips emotion, pace of the clips and the order they are arranged must suit the song.
The song is simply a slow starting piano tune which gradually picks up the pace, then at around 2 minutes the dramatic drop falls and the pace is extremely fast, with dramatic loud vocals and bass. I have heard the song many times, and have visualised in my head how I am going to edit to it.
First of all, in the slow build up, I want to have a motivational speech on top of the song. But from different people, so I'm going to research some inspirational speeches that can fit into the video. Muhammed Ali and Rocky Balboa I know have some motivational quotes I would like to use. I think this would add more emotion to the video, and make the build up much more epic.
In the 2 minutes of building up, the clips I want to use are slow, off the football pitch clips. I want to use the dramatic drop for all the goals and crazy celebrations and the slow build up for the tense low emotions. Almost telling a story for the world up, of how tense and the pressures of it before it starts.
